At the Railfuture Rail User Group Awards in Bristol 16 July 2022, Friends of the West Highland Lines won “Best Website” for our contribution to rail campaigning. The original site was created by John McCormick and Norman McNab who engaged local Helensburgh web designer Jim Chestnut (www.atticweb.co.uk) to build the site on Joomla. Subsequently the site was transferred to WordPress assisted by Jimmy Campbell.
